These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the KOVA platform, including the website, mobile interface, KOVA Tags, and relay communication services operated by KOVA Inc. By using KOVA, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
KOVA provides a privacy-preserving communication relay platform. Vehicle owners can register their vehicles and obtain KOVA Tags (Basic or Signature). Third parties who scan these tags can contact the vehicle owner through KOVA's relay network without ever seeing the owner's personal phone number. KOVA is not a telecommunications provider but a technology platform that facilitates anonymized connections through third-party infrastructure.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to: - Provide accurate registration information and keep it updated - Not use KOVA for illegal, harassing, or fraudulent purposes - Not attempt to bypass the privacy relay to obtain another user's contact information - Not use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to interact with the platform without written permission - Comply with all applicable laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and IT Rules, 2021
KOVA enables anonymous communication between parties. Because of the anonymous nature of this service, users agree: - Not to send threatening, abusive, or harassing messages through the relay - Not to use KOVA for spam, phishing, or unsolicited commercial communications - That KOVA reserves the right to block, disable, or terminate any user or vehicle that receives verified reports of misuse - That KOVA may cooperate with law enforcement as required by law, including providing non-identifiable communication logs in response to a valid legal order
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. Key commitments: - We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties - Phone numbers are stored securely and only retained as long as necessary for service delivery - We implement reasonable security safeguards as required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 - Users may request deletion of their data by contacting our Grievance Officer
In compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, KOVA has appointed a Grievance Officer: Grievance Officer Email: grievance@kova.buzz Complaints will be acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days.
If you receive or encounter any communication through KOVA that you believe is illegal, harassing, or violates these Terms, please report it immediately using the in-app report button available on all communication pages or by emailing grievance@kova.buzz. KOVA will review and take appropriate action, which may include blocking the offending user, vehicle, or account.
KOVA acts as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000. We provide the platform "as is" and are not liable for: - The conduct of users — whether vehicle owners or third parties contacting through the relay - Service interruptions caused by third-party infrastructure (Twilio, Firebase, cloud providers) - Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform
KOVA may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, at our discretion. Users may delete their account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Registered users will be notified of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
