A new Tag, same car.
Puts a new KOVA Essential Tag on a vehicle whose Tag is lost, torn or damaged.
What it is
A KOVA Replacement Kit puts a new KOVA Essential Tag on a vehicle you already have. You scan the Activation Card from the box, which activates the included Tag against that existing vehicle.
Use one when the KOVA Tag currently on your vehicle is:
- —Lost
- —Broken
- —Torn
- —Damaged
- —Otherwise no longer usable
What you need before you activate
A KOVA Replacement Kit does not start or renew a subscription, and it does not add a vehicle. Two things must already be true:
- —Your account has an active KOVA subscription.
- —Your account has at least one vehicle whose Tag you are replacing.

Activation Card
Carries the QR code that opens your activation page.
Instruction Card
Explains what to do.
Cleaning Swab
Wipes the spot down before the Tag goes on, so it sticks properly.
What happens when you activate
You scan the Activation Card from the box.
You sign in to your existing KOVA account.
You choose the vehicle whose Tag you are replacing.
You complete the replacement activation.
Your new KOVA Essential Tag takes over for that vehicle, and the vehicle keeps its details, its history and its place in your subscription. A Replacement Kit does not add a vehicle and does not count against your 5-vehicle cap.

Not the kit you need?
If you want to put KOVA on a vehicle that is not on your subscription yet, that is a KOVA Expansion Kit, not a replacement. If you are new to KOVA and have no subscription yet, start with a KOVA Welcome Kit.

Order a KOVA Replacement Kit in the KOVA Store, then pick the vehicle it is for from your order history. Your current Tag keeps working until the new one is attached.
