Starts your 1-year subscription and activates your first KOVA Essential Tag, in one go.
What it is
A KOVA Welcome Kit is your first KOVA purchase. You scan the Activation Card from the box, and that one activation starts your subscription and the included KOVA Essential Tag together.
This is the only kit that starts a subscription. There is currently no subscription without a KOVA Tag, so your first Tag activation sets up your account, your vehicle, your Tag and your subscription in one go.
What is in the box
The same four items as every other KOVA Kit.
KOVA Essential Tag
The QR-based KOVA Tag itself. The same Tag in every kit.
Activation Card
Carries the QR code that opens your activation page.
Instruction Card
Explains what to do.
Cleaning Swab
Wipes the spot down before the Tag goes on, so it sticks properly.
Nothing else is in the box. There is no Welcome Letter and no booklet — the Instruction Card is the printed guidance.
What happens when you activate
You scan the QR code on the Activation Card, which opens your activation page.
You set up your KOVA account using your phone number.
You provide your vehicle details — make, model, colour and year.
Your KOVA Essential Tag is activated.
Your subscription becomes active at the same time.
Your activation page offers three ways to do this — on the web, in WhatsApp, or by chatting it through with the KOVA Onboarding Assistant. All three activate the same Tag and end with the same result, so pick whichever suits you.
What it does not do
A KOVA Welcome Kit covers one vehicle. Your subscription can hold up to 5 vehicles in total, but each additional vehicle needs its own KOVA Essential Tag, which comes in a KOVA Expansion Kit. If the Tag on a vehicle you already have is lost or damaged, you need a KOVA Replacement Kit instead.
